We’re proud to be one of the few Construction & Plant Hire Association (CPA) members in West Wales, offering competitive hire rates that include a full insurance waiver for peace of mind. For extra protection, our partnership with JCB Insurance Services provides the HireMaxx policy, giving full cover for equipment (less any excess based on machine value) for a small additional fee, with minor items like lights or beacons charged at cost. Yes, unless stated all machines will arrive full of fuel and should be returned full. For diesel operated machines this is normal diesel, not red. We appreciate sometimes the larger machines need a lot of fuel and that can be time-consuming to get it and fill up with cans. That’s why we don’t charge a refuelling premium – we can fill the larger machines up on their way back to the depot, and we only ever charge pump price. If you are using a machine longer term and will need to refuel while you are using it, let us know – we’ll be happy to lend you a 20l diesel can so you can fill it yourself.
For small petrol machines, we advise Super Unleaded. It costs more, but they only have a small fuel tank.
For Petrol Quads and UTV’s – these run fine on normal unleaded
Generally there is no need to worry, but accidents happen. That’s why we offer the Insurance policy, but this doesn’t cover glass, lights, or beacons. However, these are generally easy and cheap to replace (e.g. a beacon is around £20-£40 and a glass panel is around £100).
Generally all machines are cleaned when they return to base and we appreciate the nature of the work they do means they are going to get dirty. We always appreciate it when the worst of the mud is cleaned off. If dumpers are used for concrete/cement etc, this does need to be cleaned off before the machine is returned, otherwise a cleaning charge is made. It’s good practice to wash off cement/concrete etc before it sets anyway!
Of course! Sometimes for operational reasons the machine you have might be needed for another customer and so we may change it for another one, but we will always ensure you can complete your project.

We have drivers working 24×7 if needed, so we will always make sure you have the machine when you wanted it. We often deliver the day before for operational reasons but we’ll keep you informed.
Our drivers accept cash, BACS or card payment on delivery, unless there is a previous arrangement. Any additional items, e.g. refuelling, extra days etc, will be invoiced at the end of the rental and you’ll receive an invoice by email.
Don’t worry – we understand this. When the driver arrives, please let them know. They will spend as long as you need to ensure you are comfortable with the machine operation, the safety instructions, and any basic checks. You can also refer to this page for a wealth of information on how to use the machines, how to stay safe and what to do in an emergency.
